I was able to finish off the left wing tops skins today. My buddy Andy came over and helped me shoot the last few rivets I couldn't get at. I clubed one over so I drilled it out and correcterd it.
Bit of a milestone for me..the wings are off the stands and in the cradle.
Soon the ailerons and flaps will be to the point of closing and I'll be ready for the preclose inspection with the wings and empenage sections with the MDRA.
I also pulled strings through the conduit using a cotton ball, floss, and a sho pvac. The strings were tied off at both ends,
Still have to take the mounting bracket for the stand off
